2016 Orchard Red


Tasting Notes: 42% Syrah, 29% Grenache, 29% Cinsaut. The Syrah frames this wine with dark fruits with the full picture being completed by flavors of raspberry and earth from the Grenache and Cinsaut. 



Varietal Information

Grenache:  With medium body and color, this grape is used to add body and sweet fruitfulness. It is the earliest ripening grape in the vineyard, and the sweetest.

Syrah:  This full-bodied, full-flavored grape has one of the highest levels of antioxidants, along with a spicy and peppery aroma. It is a terrific stand alone varietal.

Cinsaut:  Light and aromatic, this grape adds softness, bouquet and a spicy component.

With a current annual production of approximately 1500 cases, Long Walk Vineyard produces limited quantities of of award winning Rosé, Rhône blend and single varietal wines.
